Reporting Line The QHSE Manager reports, and is accountable, to the Managing Director and Vice Managing Director of SBSS. 2. Job Deion – Role Responsible for the operational management of effective QHSE management systems in order to develop/maintain a healthy and safe culture aligned to the principles of ISO 14001 and 18000 as well as quality system complying with ISO 9001, and shaping the company safety culture both onshore and offshore. 3. Job Deion - Duties & Responsibilities 3.1Effective operational management of the ISO9001, 14001 and 18000 accreditations. 3.2Effective operational shipboard safety management skills. 3.3To cultivate and disseminate the company safety culture both onshore and offshore. 3.4 Act as a HSE partner to the business, ensuring that practises are compliant with legislation, aligned to company strategy and actively support organisational performance. 3.5 Advise and facilitate key stakeholders in the implementation of QHSE management systems, whilst ensuring contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle. 3.6 Effective implementation of risk Management practices throughout all activities. 3.7Ensure alignment of the Company’s QHSE management systems with commercial objectives and project contractual requirements. 3.8Plan and Conduct and Lead QHSE audits and ISM audits on both shore and offshore. 3.9Work closely with business areas to ensure all corrective actions and process improvements are effectively implemented. 3.10Continuous identification of opportunities and solutions which will improve management process and procedures to increase efficiency and performance. 3.11Supervise, co-ordinate, and review QHSE performance throughout all projects. 3.12Track and report on company and project performance against agreed QHSE metrics and project specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identifying solutions for improvement. 3.13Contribute to Supply Chain Management in respect of supplier and subcontractor approval. 3.14Lead the investigation of all HSE incidents, providing comprehensive conclusions and the effective communication of recommendations for improvement. 3.15Acting as a role model and mentor to colleagues in all aspects of HSE management. 4. Qualifications 4.1Proven experience in performing to a high standard in a similar role in offshore industry. 4.2 NEBOSH Diploma. 4.3 ISO 9001, 14001 and 18000 Lead auditor. 4.4 Excellent leadership and management skills. 4.5 Strong English language communication and writing skills.
