The areas of expertise of these technical specialists include the following; deep water drilling, subsea engineering, sour gas production operations and transmission, heavy oil production, multi-phase pipeline design, coal bed methane production and shale petroleum production. They must have worked offshore at an oil or gas production platform or FPSO and speak or at least understand a basic level of English. We would prefer people who have worked for CNOOC or for foreign companies operating within China i.e. Schlumberger, Halliburton, Weatherford, BHI etc. We will offer 6 month contracts with an option to extend the employment contract monthly after that period. We would prefer people who live in the Shenzhen area or want to move to this area, but would buy domestic tickets for candidates with strong CVs.
