Our focus is4>Reports To: Engineering Manager Job Summary: To specify, produce detailed engineering documents for field instrumentation, manage projects with the objective of meeting the defined scope, specification and schedule of the project while maintaining the margin of the budget. Principle Accountabilities: &#8226；； Specify instrumentation and electrical equipment for Hazardous Areas. &#8226；； Create instrument data sheets for all types of field instrumentation, instrument schedules, control philosophy, cause and effect ts, logic diagrams, control panel specifications, pneumatic and process hook-ups. &#8226；； Specify lighting, heat tracing, and motor control centers. &#8226；； Specify control applications utilizing PLC or DCS control. &#8226；； Review client technical specifications to confirm compliance or deviation. &#8226；； Review sub-vendor documentation and drawings for compliance to project requirements. &#8226；； Check instrument location diagrams, hook-up drawings, cable schedules and E&I interconnect diagrams. &#8226；； Implement latest working practices, European and international standards. &#8226；； Provide technical support to the sales / proposals team by reviewing client specifications, costs and man hour estimates. &#8226；； Attend inspection / testing of control panels, instrumentation/electrical equipment and package installations. &#8226；； Attend client meetings as a technical authority. Job Requirements/ Qualifications: &#8226；； Engineering degree, preferably in Controls / Electrical Engineering and hold tered status or actively working towards tered status. &#8226；； 5+ years experience in Controls / Instrumentation & Electrical engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry. &#8226；； Working knowledge of S.I.L requirements. (IEC 61508 & IEC 61511). &#8226；； Knowledge of fire and gas systems. &#8226；； Computer literate and well-versed in Microsoft Office applications. &#8226；； Willingness to travel as and when required. &#8226；； High degree of communication and organization skills.
