Our focus is4>Reports To: Engineering Manager Job Summary: The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for managing and control of all mechanical engineering aspects on assigned projects. Principle Accountabilities: &#8226；； Interpret scope of supply requirements Cameron bid documents, project specifications and other bid clarification correspondence. Also interpret and become familiar with any other project requirements (e.g. applicable Classification Society rules etc). &#8226；； With the assistance of Cameron Process engineers and others as appropriate, produce data sheets and/or specifications for mechanical equipment. &#8226；； Produce and issue Technical and Purchase Requisitions complete with supporting documentation to allow outsourcing of bought-out mechanical equipment. Review potential sub-vendor proposals upon receipt. &#8226；； Review all mechanical aspects of sub-suppliers engineering design documentation for compliance with project requirement. &#8226；； Address client comments on Cameron and sub-supplier mechanical engineering documentation. &#8226；； Coordinate with product specialists in other Cameron offices to complete designs and develop designs. &#8226；； All jobs have a range of duties, which are carried out time to time and may vary. Job Requirements/ Qualifications: &#8226；； Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering and hold tered status or actively working towards tered status. &#8226；； 8-10 years of relevant experience within the oil and gas industry. &#8226；； Strong knowledge of international mechanical design codes and programs commonly used in the petroleum industry. &#8226；； Knowledge of fabrication techniques for vessels, piping and structure etc, and also the associated testing techniques and established industry QC requirements. &#8226；； General knowledge of oil and gas production, hydrocarbon processing and oil/water separation. &#8226；； Some knowledge of structural and/or pipe stress design and analysis. &#8226；； Experience in personal computers, spreadsheets and word processing as well as good written and verbal communication skills5+ years experience in Controls / Instrumentation & Electrical engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry. &#8226；； Willingness to travel as and when required. &#8226；； High degree of communication and organization skills.
