Primary responsibilities include the supervising various geophysical activities required to support activities within Husky’s existing exploration portfolio, together with the identification & evaluation of new venture exploration opportunities in North Asia region. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify and describe 3 – 7 core areas of responsibility. (add more rows as needed) Estimated % time · Supervise & produce detailed interpretation of the seismic data consistent with the geology, tie seismic to wells · Supervise & carry out advanced interpretation processes on seismic data such as AVO and Inversion. 40 · As a geophysical specialist of the Geoscience team to make recommendations for drilling locations, well prognoses and work with the drilling and completions group for well-planning 15 · Participate in evaluating new venture opportunities 15 · Manage geophysical portions of official documents such as OGIP & ODP as required 15 · Supervise seismic acquisition, processing and inversion projects 15 Note: This position agrees with and has adopted the major elements of the HOIMS program with respect to the way in which all work is undertaken in this Business Unit.
