Husky Energy Inc. is4>Position Title: Sr. Reservoir Engineering Department: Reservoir Engineering, Production & Development, China Location (city/site): Shekou, China Reports To (Position): Supervisor, Reservoir Engineer Block 29/26 Title (and #) of Direct Reports: N/A Date Revised: ( today’s date) 6-May-14 Safety-Sensitive: No POSITION SUMMARY: Key responsibilities include: 1) Conducting production performance analysis on a regular basis to ensure optimal recovery factor for each Sand and field, 2) Updating LW3-1 and LH34-2 reservoir simulation models for production history match and forecast based on actual field performance, 3) Working together with team members and geoscientists to provide the field depletion strategies in the LH29-1 ODP report and reservoir engineering inputs as required, 4) Assessing the reserves & resources by compliant with the relevant rules. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify and describe 3 – 7 core areas of responsibility. (add more rows as needed) Estimated % time · Monitor, collect and maintain daily production information in the OFM database for each individual well. 15% · Assist in 3D reservoir simulation models of LW3-1 & LH34-2 for production history match and forecast based on actual field performance. 25% · Optimize the reservoir depletion strategy, remaining development well locations and production profiles in LH29-1 ODP report. 25% · Identify risks and risk mitigation strategies/actions for each reservoir, including evaluation of the reservoir risks and uncertainties associated with development wells and production facilities. 10% · Participate reservoir evaluation programs and analysis of well results. 10% · Prepare LH29-1 ODP regulatory applications/documents to the People’s Republic of China and interface with the Chinese National Offshore Oil Company (CNOOC). 5% · Prepare yearend reserve/resource assessments & documents for each field in Block 29/26. 10% Note: This position agrees with and has adopted the major elements of the HOIMS program with respect to the way in which all work is undertaken in this Business Unit. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:(add more rows as needed) Mark X as applicable Certifications – Academic (ie. specific educational and/or training programs, degrees, diplomas, certifications, etc.) Req’d Asset · BSc or higher in Reservoir Engineering or Petroleum Engineering X Certifications – Professional; Regulatory; Safety; Specific Training (ie. specific professional designations such as P.Eng., Journeyman, CMA, CHRP, etc.) Req’d Asset · Registered member of SPE X Experience – Role-specific (ie. knowledge & experience gained by working in a specific role. Include years required in the role) Req’d Asset · Demonstrated strong analysis and reservoir engineering skills, with a focus towards offshore field developments X · Experience in laboratory testing and application theories (Compositional Analysis, PVT, Petrology, SCAL and Routine Core analysis) would be advantageous X · Experience of developing field depletion plans and writing and presenting ODP reports X · Thorough understanding of both Canadian & SEC rules regarding reserve/ resource booking, especially as pertains to international properties X · Working knowledge of fiscal regimes typically found in Asia Pacific X · Strong knowledge of pressure transient analysis (PTA) X · Working knowledge of reservoir simulation, geology and geophysics X Experience – Industry-specific (ie. knowledge & experience gained by working within a specific industry. Include years required in the industry.)
