The incumbent will be responsible for the interpretation of seismic data for both Brightoil’s existing and international new ventures. The incumbent will be using based in Shenzhen, and will be in ge of our newly set up technical research laboratory. Key Responsibilities and Requirements include: &#8226； Lead and manage the reservoir modeling, simulation, monitoring and forecasting of our existing and potential assets. &#8226； The incumbent will have detailed working knowledge of : o Reservoir Simulation o Material balance o Pressure transient analysis o Reserves calculation and classification &#8226； A good basic understanding of the following is also required: o production technology o completion technology o petrophysics o economics &#8226； In additional to managing the reservoir of existing assets, the incumbent will be closely involved the evaluation and screening of new oil and gas opportunities. &#8226； Practical understanding of recovery processes including water flooding, frac’ing, horizontal and deviated well technology &#8226； Liaise with all relevant stake holders including local Government, farmers, joint venture and Petrochina representatives
