Ensure well AFE’s raised are timely and accurate; 11) Ensure proper research of offset data for planned wells is conducted; 12) Ensure all well plans are technically sound, feasible and cost effective, giving full consideration to all; 13) Health, Safety and Environment aspects; 14) Ensure well equipment proposed for Drilling, Completing or Workover of planned wells is available, fit for purpose, and meet the QA/QC standards required for the application; 15) Ensure Applications for Drilling are made in a timely manner; 16) Ensure timely provision of Well Programs and that implementation is in compliance with plans; 17) Ensure all required reports on Well Program implementation are accurate, received daily and properly distributed; 18) Ensure well performance data is tracked daily; regulations are known and adhered to both in Programs and Operations.Other duties and responsibilities as required. Qualifications:  1) International Drilling experience is essential; 2) Preferably a B. Sc. Degree in Petroleum Engineering with a minimum of ten years drilling experience, with five of those years as a Drilling Engineer; 3) Experienced in advising on technical problems, supervision, planning, scheduling and reviewing work of professional engineers and technicians; 4) Experienced in Horizontal Drilling with good technical knowledge of Well Operations. Under Balance Drilling experience is an asset; 5) Knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations applicable to drilling work; knowledge of IADC/API guidelines for Well Operations. Valid Well Control Certificate – IWCF/IADC; 6) Effective communication skills in oral and written English mandatory; ability to converse in Arabic is an asset.
